WELCOME TO THE UPHALL DIAMONDS F.C. WEBSITE

We are a youth football team, playing our football in Uphall, West Lothian, Scotland.

Scotland - The home of football !

ABOUT THE DIAMONDS

The Diamonds were founded in 2003 when Craig and Gloria Morrice, along with local Referee Derek Smith decided that the community should have their own team. In the years that have followed more teams have been added and the club has grown.

Our younger teams play Soccer Sevens under the WLSDA, West Lothian Soccer Development Association. Our older teams play 11 a side football as part of  the WLAYFC,  West Lothian Association of Youth Football Clubs.

We play in Uphall which is a small town located 1ΒΌ miles (2 km) west of Broxburn, 13 miles (21 km)west of Edinburgh, on the Brox Burn.  Uphall was formerly known as Strathbrock, "the valley of badgers" and was a centre for shale-mining and paraffin production.

In 2008 the Diamonds went into partnership with some other local sports groups : Broxburn Athletic FC, Buchan Bowling Club and Broxburn Colts to form Broxburn United Sports Club.

The aim of Broxburn Sports Club is to provide facilities for football and other sports in the interest of social welfare for the community of Broxburn and the surrounding area which includes Uphall.
